HANDEF is a non-government not for profit organization founded  in 2003 and dedicated to the education and advancement of the welfare of the people with disabilities and other special needs. It seeks to sensitize, bring awareness and action to the plight of the challenged members of the society and especially those who are still in school

The founder, Mrs. Olufunke Agagu from childhood had been worried about the plight of people with disabilities. She tended to go out of her way to help them while still in High school and sough the earliest opportunity to establish a foundation that will help in alleviating the challenges people with disabilities face in her immediate environment.
